About a month ago my car wouldn't start. We jumped it and it took three tries. When trying to start it up those first few times it wouldn't even turn over. It was fine for a few days. Same problem happened but trying to jump it did nothing. Auto Zone tested my battery and alternator. Battery was bad. I bought a battery and installed it, but that didn't fix the problem. Had it towed to an auto shop and they replaced the starter. Started up fine a day or so then started to have the same problem. Took it back to the auto shop and he said it was a "loose ground wire". He tightened it or whatever and it was good for a week or two. This past week it's been giving me problems again, but eventuallly starts after multiple tries. Sometimes turning the key to auxilary (or whatever) and letting is stay for a minute before actually starting it helps out.
I live in Michigan (cold weather) if that helps figure out the problem.
What's wrong with my car!? I am soo frustrated! I don't want to keep spending money ($100 battery, $300 starter) if the problem isn't getting fixed!
