Truck has been running fine, came home and went to leave about 20 minutes later and my truck wouldn't start. Everything seems fine, plenty of power all lights and windows are going. I tried to start it and the only thing that happens is my relay in the main board clicks, a device in the front of my engine clicks, but the starter doesn't make a sound. First I tried bypassing the battery to check it. Hooked my + battery cable to a jumper cable connected to my sisters battery and ran directly off her power. Nothing different happened same deal. Next I dropped the starter out and ran it up to pepboys to have it tested. He ran it 4 times and all four tests ran with flying colors. I am not really sure what to look at next. I read that it could be the security system freaking out. I had my truck broken into a few months back and they had to replace my steering column. I don't know if it could be something faulty in there so I can take it back to them or not. Please help me. I don't have a ton of money to just bring it to a shop and get it repaired. Hoping for something I can manage on my own. Its a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Reg cab V8 4.8
