'03 chevy silverado seat?

ik this probably isnt the best website to ask this but all the springs, or whatever the support for the seat, under the drivers seat of my '03 silverado have snapped, can I order replacements online and do it myself or do I need to bring it in to a mechanic, it looks fairly simple if you got the right parts, thanks!

once you have an idea what the parts will cost, take a trip to a larger jukyard and see what an entire seat costs.
seats are pretty generic by year and even make. i've seen BMW power/heated/leather seats just bolt right into an older chevy.
quite possible you can find a seat that matches in all ways for less then part costs. quite possible you can find one that is nicer in some way and fits right in, and you can find the matching seats for the other side, and all for less.
and of course its possible to find them in great shape even though the vehicle is in the junk yard.

as long as you know where the parts go then there should be no problem replacing them all yourself, it should also be no problem to get the parts online or going to a parts store and ordering them from the warehouse, hope this helps.
