02 Burb oem radio replace

I am replacing the oem radio [ Delco 15071234 ] with an aftermarket one. I have the Scosche GM02B harness adapter,,,, I am trying to match up the GM colors with the adapter,,,,, it appears on the Burb the 12VDC switchable source is 'green', and says only for oem radio on code sheet I found. ????? Do I use that for new radio, or run a red wire to a switchable accessory point ???? and are all other connections, simply wire radio connector colors to Scosche adapter colors,,,, ?

why wouldnt the green wire in the factory harness connect to the green wire in the adaptor? Thats what their site indicates for all the colors, contact them if you have a question about their adaptor.

That is what I thought,,,,,, but the green wire on the adapter were for the RF speaker,,,,,, it turns out,,,, the red wire on the plug adapter,,,, is for 12vdc switchable,,,,, what is weird is,,, the switchable 12vdc on the Burban plug,, is green in color,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I just bit-the-bullet connected the plug adapter colors to the after market radio colors,,,, did not use an orange wire, it was for the dimmer, not needed on replacement radio radio,,, and connected the antenna wire from radio,,, to Burban built in amp wire,, all worked out,,,,, I just got nervous connecting a green wire to a red wire,,,, but GM uses green for switchable 12vdc,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, all is working fine,,, speakers are next, but that is another thread,,,, sent a note to scosche,,,,,, no reply,,,,,
