Hi all,
Just bought a ‘17 Sub with ~80 k mi. And after driving for a month with no prob have noticed a strong gas fume smell in the drivers seat. Goes away when you turn off the a/c, and only notice it at idle. So strong I can barely stand it. Two mechanics have looked at it and said they can’t find anything wrong. Any ideas? Fuel pressure regulator? Fuel lines? Hellllllp!!! Of note this model year does have the capless fuel tank but no obvious leak or issue there-

Can only be gasoline leak or a problem with the evaporative emissions system.
Do you have a check engine light on?
Did either one of the mechanics check for a technical service bulletin?
Are these mechanics ASE certified?

No check engine. One mechanic said there’s a TSB but he didn’t have access to it, recommended I take it to a dealer. Both ASE Cert.

A little strange he doesn't subscribe to TSB's. Did he give you the number?
