I own a 2016 Class A motorhome built by Tiffin that utilizes the head lamp assembly from the 2007-2012 Silverado. Driving at night, the illumination with halogen bulbs in this assembly is marginal at best, especially since the driver's position is so much higher than in a passenger car application. For that reason, I'd like to upgrade the bulbs to LED if that's feasible. Is this Silverado headlight assembly capable of using LED bulbs to replace the halogen bulbs without the issue of blinding oncoming traffic? If this is an acceptable upgrade, going to LED bulbs, can anyone advise the proper LED replacement bulb P/N to use? TIA

It's available to replace your Silverado headlights with LED bulbs, I've tried it out and the LED bulbs I bought from auxito were quite amazing. They offer an increase in light output, I didn't expect much of an increase in brightness, but these are much brighter. Also you don't need to worry about blinding oncoming traffic, try to aim and align your headlight correctly, low beams should not increase in height as they get further from the car. if anything they should slowly decrease in height off of the ground. this is what causes other drivers to feel like they are getting highbeamed. After that they can work like holas exactly and more brighter.
