This should apply too 88-94 suburban c1500
I am working on my 1994 these are the following that are only needed to Remote start and keyless entry for this year per the 12v sources instructions and code alarm manual
Code alarms caSECRS wiring codes
(Remote start harness)
All located at ignition harness
Ignition 1 pink+ wire
Battery 12v + red wire
Accessory 1(+) orange wire
Starter output -Motor side (+) purple wire
(Notification harness )
White/red. "parking light input" 12v or ground
White "parking light output "
Input output harness
"Tachometer input" purple/white wire
Door trigger input (-) Green wire
Door lock harness
Unlock (-) blue
lock (-) green
I have matched all these above to the code and locations And think my faults are with the tach wire location on the vehicle it should be a white wire on the coil pack closest to driver side of vehicle.
And the Door trigger input + might be at the wrong wire on the light under dash
Trying to get my code alarm remote start and keyless entry wired in 99% done with the remote start but the Parking light "OUTPUT" wire for the units notification harness ties into the Vehicles parking light switch "brown wire" and that brown wire has +12v when switched into the on position with a test light .
This leaves me to determine if if have to ground or 12v source the parking light "INPUT" white /red wire on the code alarm unit Which is either is grounded or 12v and I don't know how to determine that
Also the keyless entry door trigger input which says it's a (-) polarity ties into the light harness under dash White wire (-) or at the dome light switch harness. I've tied into that and I'm not getting any response from the Entire unit when I do my first tach programming which won't allow the until to start the truck until it programs the tach reading.
Does anyone have any experience with the wiring diagrams and or hands on with the correct wires to tie into for this year Suburban. I've followed code alarms schematic and the 12v sources color coded/location for the truck but I'm not seeing any thing work .
