Does anyone know how much damage if any is done when the intake & exhaust Camshaft position actuator solenoids are plugged in wrong? I believe the connectors were put on backwards as in the locking latch on the wire harness connector was not on the same side as the locking nub on the solenoid. I thought the connectors were keyed so you couldnt get it wrong but apparently he got it wrong. My Malibu was throwing a P0013 which is why he changed the solenoids to start. after fixing that the car threw a P0106, which is the MAP sensor so we replaced that too now its giving us a P0014 which takes us right back to where we started, so I'm wondering if him plugging the connectors in wrong might have damaged something else.
