how many 4 speeds ?

how many 4 speed Nova's were made in 1978-1979 ?, as I have a plain jane 1978 model I bought new with the F41 handling package, 305" motor and 4 speed transmission, and Black on Black. Plan is an LS motor and a 6 speed.

Sounds like a sweet plan. Post the progress as it is going together. Some floor cutting will be needed to get the 6 speed in the car.
I installed a TKO 600 in my 77 and had to open up the floor to get it in.

Will your 4 speed fit in a 72 Nova with a 400 sbc? My car presently has a turbo 350 with shift kit. I want to change it to a 4 speed.If it will work and are interested in selling everything I need for the conversion, I would be interested. You can email me at Warbirds1@cox.net
