Alright guys hope some one could help me out.

I have code 45 with truck using way way to much fuel. Truck is a 88 305 TBI that was rebuilt about 4-5 years ago (about 100-120k on it now).

I have done and replaced the following:

Temp sensor
EGR
Cap/rotor, spark plug/wires
EGR Vacuum Solenoid
Map
Rebuilt TBI
O2 sensor
Coil
Fuel pump
fuel filter

I have sprayed carb cleaner all around intake manifold, vac lines etc with no change to trucks idle.

What truck does:

The truck surges at idle and good amount of vibration(truck shacking/vibrating like).
Idles around 500-600 rmp(some times it jumps around from 1k to 500 rpm at idle).
Truck bogs down during acceleration, and some times with you floor it it bogs(like to to much fuel i guess).

I have checked timing and its where GM says it should be, but some times when checking it at idle it jumps around.

Hope i give enough info for some one to give a guess or 2, I'm at a lose.:(

Thanks

You changed the fuel filter and pump, did you check the pressure afterwards to see if it's too high because of a bad regulator? Did you test the injectors to see if they are leaking? Did you disconnect the exhaust pipe to the catalytic convertor to check if it's clogged?

rebuilt TBI, fuel pressure 12-13. Injectors or not leaking(already tested injectors 100 times). I have no catalytic convertor on this truck.

evaporative purge control valve stuck in open position pulling fuel vapor from tank? what temperature thermostat are you using?

You mean Canister Purge Valve? As for the thermostat I'm running the 195 that it calls for.

Correct canister purge valve.
