Hello,
I bought a new 2012 suburban in mid January. Sunday it started making a ticking noise. Monday took it to Chevy. Thought it was an oil pump problem, they said about 2 days and they would also check the lifters. Tuesday we call and they said something in the #6 cylinder. Wednesday call and they cannot be sure what is wrong until Friday. All of this in a brand new truck that only has 3500 miles? Seems off to me. It has been a bad experience since I drove this vehicle off the lot. I no longer feel that comfortable that this vehicle will not break down on me and my children. Should a new engine even be opened and worked on? Am I wrong to feel that my vehicle is no longer safe? This is not my first new vehicle and I never had issues like this before. Any advice or anything for me would be awesome. I really just want the vehicle replaced.

have you tried contacting Chevrolet customer service?
