...with exhaust? my friend has a 92-94 chevy with a 5.7 that he swearers has 350 horsepower. I have a 4.8 2002 chevy silverado with exhaust that my dad said has 285 horsepower. My dad said he used to have a truck like my friends and it only had 210 horsepower. He said that the newer chevy vortec engines are more powerful that the old engines. my friend doesn't believe me so i thought i would make sure before we race!!!!!

Lol dude ur gettin wasted. I hate to say it but your dad dont kno nothin. I have a 2000 silverado 4.8 and i have a 0-60 of 13 seconds. My dad has a 1989 2wd scottsdale with a 350. That engine runs bad and it beats the silverado any day of the week. Its not even close. I cant spin my tires with my truck unless its wet out.
