I'm in the market for a new car. I don't know much about cars so I'm having a hard time.
Which is a better car: Chrysler Pt Cruiser or Chevrolet HHR?

Pt Cruiser! I love mine. ('02 Touring model w/110K trouble-free miles so far).
From what I've hearad so far-
The HHR wins out slightly on economy and power (base engine; PT has a turbo version that's great!), but loses on interior room and visibility (the window pillars are too wide on the HHR). I think the PT wins out a bit on resale value too.
Try 'em both out for yourself. Personally, I think the HHR is just a wanna-be; but you never know. Style is very personal and no one can tell you what you should like or not like. But for ME, it's PT all the way!
PLUS- Chrysler has the LIFETIME powertrain warranty now.
