What type of car is the dodge viper mainly used for
what type of car is the corvette mainly used for

which car is better in drifting, track, drag, and speed the 09 viper or the 09 corvette zr1

The Viper has massive fat tires, as well as a racing rear diff. which incorporates dry sump designs and other crap I can't remember, so as far as traction is concerned I'd go with the Viper. The Corvette is lighter, due to being made of flimsy plastic. I'm sorry, but if I'm dumping that much money into a car, I want something that has a little bit of actual metal in it. They can both be good drift cars, but both take an extraordinary amount of talent to do so and not be killed in the process. As far as drag racing is concerned, it depends whether you want them modified or not. Stock, the Vette would probably get it, but tuned the Viper has more potential. I've seen a twin turbo Viper pump out 1,900 horsepower.

The Corvette is the best in any scenario. The vehicle has the weight split nearly 50/50 front to rear. The Viper is overkill with a massive engine and transmission in front.
The Vette can and does accelerate better, pulls more G's on the skid pad, brakes better, and gets better fuel economy. And it does this with 2 less cylinders!
The Viper is wide, breaks the tires loose too easily, accels slower (because it can't get traction).

Both cars are considered super cars and are cool in their own right, but the Vette just does it all better.
