where is the break switch on a 98 chevy malibu ?

checked fuses. brake fuse was blown. replaced it. lights work now... the right tail light is lit, but when applying the break.... it doesn't get brighter

plus the reverse light won't light up.

I've also cycled all four bulbs....... all seem to work.

Check the ground to the wiring harness on the back panel, under the cladding. Usually under the plastic in that area. You may also consider taking it to a pro.
