Having trouble finding out where to hook up the remote wire in my truck if I am using my factory head unit?? Anyone have a solution??

I think my runs from the radio fuse.Anytime I turn the radio on the amps come on.Turn off the radio amps go off.Good if you have lights on your amp that may pinpoint you as the loud car when the cop heard it but wasn't sure where it came from and you have time to turn off the radio. Also good if it's at risk of overheating as you can turn the radio off til it cools then back on without having to turn the car off.

If you are using a newer amp and keeping your OEM deck the best way to hook up the amp is to use line level connection because most new amps have auto turn-on. Just tap into your rear speaker wires. Easy.

If you are using adapters to Rca's ( waist of money) you will have to find a accessory wire. You don't have to take your stereo out to Tap into one of these wires. There is more than one under your dash. All you need is a cheap voltage light and find a wire that powers up when the key is tuned. It's just trial and error

The answer from the guy before me was wrong it will not be a blue wire.
That is only on after market decks
