Hi all,
I'm about to replace my rear break pads but unsure if I truly need to replace the rotors along with it. I'd like to do the pads and rotors at the same time but would prefer to save money and not do the rotors if it's unnecessary. I believe they were last replaced maybe 3 years ago. The surface where the pad meets the rotor feels and looks smooth. There is rust at the top but hardly any lip from the smooth surface to the top of the rotor. I have attached photos to give a visual reference, one with camera flash on, one without.
Any thoughts on this?
Thank you!
