Does anyone have a 75 nova with 15" wheels on it without having to do any mods. Our local tire centers say it will not work. Does anyone know?

15" on the back. I am thinking about 15 x8 pacer with 225x70x15 on the back

i think you should read this site, you need to have more information than just diameter and width, you need backspacing and possibly offset in order to buy custom wheels

I have a 1974 Nova. I took off the 14s and went to a Sears tire store and had 15" BF Goodrich tires put on all the way around on 7" AR aluminum rims. I have air shocks on the back to insure clearance but the Sears guy knew his stuff. He told me exactly what size tire would work. Then he ordered them for me and installed them the next day.
