I replaced distributor, installed new plugs and wires, I am getting spark to plugs and fuel to carb
The car backfired then would not start it was a cold start I then replaced pick up coil, ignition module, cap, roter, plugs and wires. I marked distibutor when I removed it and put it back in position. I have not checked timing, but it is getting fire from Dist. to plugs.

Buddy I find it very hard to believe you actually really messed things up,now you are suffering with your mistake added with stupidity. The only reasoning is that you thought you had done the right thing. To make things right all you have to do is have a friend help you out by turning the crankshaft slowly to where the highest compression is on the 1st cylinder and when you reach it there then stop, now turn the body of the distributor carefully to the mark of where you have it at,in short term you are retiming the ignition to its correct area where it needs to be,make sure the oil pump gear is fully engaged, properly, don't forget to tighten down the distributor hold down bolt before you go any further, now check the timing for the proper degrees of where it has to be.4 or 6 atdc or tdc, remember it is the top of the compression stroke at the first cylinder that is most critical in doing the job.

Does it backfire or try to start at all? The ignition timing may be off. Put number one cylinder at top dead center. This will be with both valves closed and the timing mark at TDC. Take the distributor cap off and see if the rotor is pointing at the number one plug wire terminal. If it not, pull out the distributor and reinstall it pointing at number one.
This should fix it if there is spark and fuel. If you look into the carb while working the throttle, do you see gas squirting? If not, the accelerator pump may be bad or the carburetor is gummed up. This may require a rebuild.
Last, your cam timing may be off. This would be timing chain or gears that slipped from wear. A compression test that reads low would indicate this. Good Luck.

Was it running before you changed those parts? Or did it die and you changed those parts trying to make it run again?
Are the plugs wet? (flooded with gas?)
Choke working properly?
does it do any thing? (Backfire, pop thru carb? try to start at all?
Plug wires back on correctly?
Have you checked the compression, timing? timing chain?

You say you replaced the distibuter...cap or the whole distributer? was it up on number 1 compression when you put it in, could be 180 off, but would backfire or pop thru carb

give a more detailed question it would help...what happened when it quit running?
