cab)? My room mates are gonna race.. and i'm gonna save them some time.

depends on the type of race... cobalt has better acceleration due to it's lower weight... truck has better speed... cobalt only wins the aerodynamics by a little cause of wind shear... the truck bed actually creates a vortex that lets the wind roll of a little but the front of the truck is a lot more brick shaped than the cobalt...

hahah save everyone's time,....the chevy has a 350 vortec engine in it, that's push great amount of torque and horse power.....the cobalt has a puss y engine 4cyl

the chevy truck will not only win, but will spank the living hell out of it

The 350 hasn't been in a full size GM truck since 99. The truck has a 5.3L Vortec which is based off the motor in the Vette. It depends how far you are racing. The Cobalt will probably get a better start, but the truck should catch up if your going any distance at all.

chevy hasnt put 350 in there trucks since 97 or 98 they have 5.3's or 4.8's nowadays and either motor would beat the cobalt

Chevy / GMC Trucks 1500 series either came with

4.3L 262CI V6
4.8L 294CI V8
5.3L 323CI V8

Pre 1999

4.3L 262cid V6 TBI (Z)

5.0L 305cid V8 TBI (H)

5.7L 350cid V8 TBI (K)

6.5L 395cid V8 DIESEL MFI Turbo (S)

A 4.8L or 5.3L Unlocked ECM Truck = Spanked Cobalt. I know, i already Raced my Wife
