...automatic transmission? thats pretty much it.. lookin to buy a car and i really like novas, but gas mileage is a scary thing these days

also if you have any suggestions for an alternative car with good mpg, that would be greatly appreciated

Saturns get pretty good gas mileage 35 to 40+. And there pretty cheap
