The TC button is for Traction Control. Essentially it just reduces engine speed if one of the drive wheels starts to spin. Reducing the engine speed helps bring traction back to the tires so you can keep moving. Kind of like Anti-lock Brakes but it works in the opposite way. Great for getting traction in the winter time with snow on the ground.
