what is a deep sounding exhaust for a 87 corvette?

I only wanna spend around 500 bucks for a nice deep sounding exhaust. i was thinking straight pipe from the manifold back to two flowmaster 40 series?

flowmasters aren't deep.. their somewhere between raspy and crap.. the people who put flowmasters on their vehicles are the same as the kids that put the big fart can mufflers on their civics.. if you want something good get a magnaflow if you want garbage just so people will look to see what that god awful sound is get a flowmaster
