A guy I dated for 6 months and then broke up with suddenly went out and blew money he said he was saving to go to Culinary School with on a red corvette. He hasn't had a car in years because he lives in NYC and told me it is not worth it to have a car because it made more sense to commute. I always thought it was odd he wanted to change careers like that and spend almost 30,000 bucks on culinary school in this economy but he said he wanted a change. He blew up when we broke up and took it really defensively which I thought was hugely blown overboard and now the red corvette. I think he is trying to compensate for something and I am a bit worried even though I won't get involved. Any thoughts?
