My 2000 chevrolet silverado (5.3 L v8 engine) will not start on the first time. but on the secound turn of the key, it will start fine. when its REALLY hot outside, it will start right up on the first try. also, while it is running, when i press the accelerator down i lose speed and my RPM's do not go up at all. it only does this sometimes. and it cut off on me once in a parking lot. but then cranked back up. i think i need to replace the fuel filter...?
