What could be the cause of my oil pressure needle going all the way to the

right (2001 corvette)? I have a 2001 corvette and my oil pressure needle goes all the way to the right. This happens when the car is in idle or when I'm driving. What should I do? Do you have any idea what could be causing it?
I have a 2001 corvette and my oil pressure needle goes all the way to the right. The oil pressure needle goes to 80, the oil pressure is on 130 PSI and the oil temp is 111F. This happens when the car is in idle or when I'm driving. What should I do? Do you have any idea what could be causing it?

Depends on what the needle is pointing to..which you failed to mention.
Oil too thick, too low or too thin?

most likely cause is a faulty sending unit for the gage.
