Weird Sounds

My 05 Avalanche has 49,898 miles. Just recentley I hear a weird sound from the driver side front of the engine almost a humming sound. I kinda sounds like power steering pump going out. It changes with the engine rpm. Its not a grinding sound. The truck still runs good no misses or transmission problems i can feel. Has anyone else had this problem?

If you hear the sound at idle, try using a length of rubber hose, hold one end near your ear and move the other end around till you find the source of the noise.
