vette coil springs on chevelle?

I need some stiffer oem type springs for a 69 chevelle.

i would think an vette had some stiff springs? would they work in chevelle?

what spring rate were they and more important will they fit the chevelle spring pocket? total diameter?

i want a 10.25 to 10.5 load height with about 400/ to 450 spring rate,,,

Corvette springs are not the same. Did you try looking at the Moog springs at www.summitracing.com ?

i know i need one end Square and other Tangent.

i know that moog 5370 is like oem for 350 w/ac

inside Dia - 3.63
bar dia. .66
install height 11"
load rate 1952 lbs
spring rate 336 lbs/in

so i want something with one square end and one tangent that will give me 10" install height and about 450 lbs spring rate.

Not sure of your budget or what rules if any apply but they have what you want in a coil over shock form

i could swing those but i just dont feel they worth the bank for buck unless you need the adjustability for height. which i dont.

and it is not a true coil over set up as the top of the spring/shock position is not changed and puts more stress on shocks. you really gain nothing other then nice looks/room and height adjustability. but no handling increase over a good shock/spring set up.

i may go with the single adjustable qa1 shocks after i figure out what springs im putting in...

the Eibachs 3856 are close..drop 1"/1.3" but at 500 lbs/in could be a little harsh on the ride. i really want 400/425 max
