Hello forum members, just finished a complete tune up on this big beast, and to my surprise the plugs I took out are in good looking shape, yes they defiantly show their age but there is No heavy oil deposits or carbon build up and even though how the centers of them are quite worn they have that nice tanish/brown burn look. It was starting to run really ruff, I had to replace the ground straps from the firewall to frame and frame to engine block, now with all that it seems to be running and starting a lot better, plus I'm not a big fan of fuel cleaners but I decided to add some injector cleaner as well, I'm fixing previous owners short cut fixes like the starter and shims and a new positive cable ( starter side end must have came off at one point and they used a piece of rubber hose and zip ties to fix it rather than buying a new positive cable. I need to have the alternator checked, gauge is showing it's s little weak on the charging side. That's about it for now, thank you for everyone's help to this point and have more to share soon.
