I have a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado and recently I had to park the truck. The problem is this, when cool, the automatic transmission seems fine.. It shits into and can be driven in all gears, but after the engine is running for approximatley 5 mins and is heated up.. The transmission seems to be unable to go into any gear and will be basically in neutral no mater what gear I select.. The transmission has about 250k miles on it so I know its done its job... But before this, I have not had any signs or symptoms of a transmission going out... Just looking for some extra ideas before I turn to a Transmission shop for a diagnostics and who knows what sort of repair...
