tranny slipping in a 1998 chevy silverado pu?

could I save it now? what do I need to do? it just started I checked the fluid, it was a little low so I topped it. but it still hesitates,and winds up before I put it in gear.

Make sure the transmission fluid is full and if it still hesitates, go to your local mechanic or to a dealership and have them take a look at it.
