It needs new tires and I need to know what size they are, what tires would be best for it?

Thanks for your answers

I have a 78 Vette L-82.The original tire size on my car was 255-60-15.That was the biggest optional tire size that year.
B F Goodrich T/A radial tires seem to be what most guys put on C 3's.
I have not heard anything good about Goodyear tires.
Hope this helps.

The original equipment wheel size on that is 15x8 and I expect the original tire size was probably 225/70-15 or 255/60-15. The original equipment tire size as well as the recommended tire pressure and the GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) will be on the SPID (service parts identification) label which also lists the RPO (regular production option) codes. You will find the SPID label on the driver door or in the glove box. I think a good choice of tires would be the Goodyear Eagle RS-A or the Goodyear Eagle GT II. Both are all-season tires which are well suited for performance sports cars.

Front or rear?
Your old tires have their size on the side of the tire.
Probably something like 225/60R15.
