...How much could a worst case cost me? Last winter I replaced the restrict-or plate in my 2005 chevy malibu because my heater was doing nothing it was not warming up the car it was not defrosting the windshield the blower wasn't even work. Then it worked great up until about july. Now, the blower comes on when it feels like it when I have my heat on some times it works but more so it does not. It is ver frustrating! What could it possibly be now?

It sounds like a bad motor. Find it and wiggle, tap, hit the motor and see if it comes on. If it does then I would replace the motor. If it doesn't do anything then I would head towards the relay or the fan switch.

sounds like the blower fan or its relay if its the fan your looking at 100-200 if its the relay 20-50
