So I got a relatively new battery and I got a starter that is 6 months old. I've been having these starting issues in my 2015 Chevy Silverado Z71 1500 four-wheel drive. It will turn over and we'll just not start at all not make a sound no lights on the dash just not start so I put a new starter in it 6 months ago and the thing has not had an issue for a while but then it just started back up again I took it over to the AutoZone locally and battery tested good starter tested good I don't know what's going on. Has anyone else had the same issues. This is really getting old because I love my truck this is my third Chevy I really don't want to get rid of my Silverado I'm obviously staying with Chevy but this one I love I want to get this issue fixed and put it behind us. So please if you can help us out somebody let me know not having any lights on the dash and nothing to read is killing, me she ain't talking to me she's giving me the cold shoulder.

It sounds like you are describing everything is dead. Since you are sure the battery is good next thing to look at are the battery cables and any maxi fuse connections.

The thing about it is is if I sit there and turn it over three four times and wait a couple minutes the truck starts back up there's no lights on the dash that light up while I'm turning it over and giving it a couple tries nothing comes up no codes no anything it's got a brand new alternator so it's not like I'm hitting a bad spot in the alternator and whenever I took it to AutoZone and got the battery tested and got the alternator tested it came up good alternator and good battery I was thinking that it was the security system or it could be the auto start something inside the steering column. Is he going to be something going on with the ignition system something going from the key to the battery to the starter something in that whole line I'm not sure because no lights come on the dash nothing no indication nothing that I can read no codes that I can print out nothing it's the weirdest shit I've ever seen. And like I said if I give it a minute or I keep trying to turn it over for a bit it doesn't drain the battery it doesn't screw up the starter just give it a couple tries after that and it'll fire right up. But a few months ago it was acting up so bad I did end up changing the starter and put a new starter in it. But I don't know if that did anything or not I just did that just to eliminate a factor.

I understand what you are saying and gave you some other things to check. You can also look for technical service bulletins that cover your vehicle.
