I replaced it and the code is clear but the speedo is still not working ? The cable from the cruise control to the speedo is good and when I turn it the speedo moves, so I know the speedo works, and the other cable down to the tranny is good, no breaks in it either but it just doesn't work ? The sensor is hooked up right on the harness side and the part that goes in the dash seems to just go in the hole and the screw seems to be what holds it in place so it stays stationary in the back of the cluster, so $ 60.00 later and I am still at point A. Any help on this issue would be nice cause winter in Ohio is coming and I want to still drive it. Thanks !!
Found that the stem on the green gear inside the tranny was broke so need to buy the gear and the cover that goes on the tranny since it broke taking it off. Thanks
