speaker install

I just bought and had installed some german mestro's concept series component and man do they sound good..its in my '11 z71 avy...I was so impressed that I am going to spenthe coin to do the rears with the coaxial ....they have the bass I was looking for without having to install a sub....jeff

Were they a simple install or any mods required?

no mods but not really simple as they don't have the 4 wires at the door like early models...so you have to fish the wirers for the tweeters thru the door wire rubber..not hard but just time consuming...and really after comparing these to others that I know like infinity r model...these are nicer...when you play like van morrisons favorites or johnly lang for more bass they just kick butt...but I did pay 310 bucks for them...jeff
ps I am not even considering a new sub for the center console..
