I've been wantin a car/truck for the longest. I had an SUV when I was 17-20 but my mom sold it cause I kept getting in trouble so than I bought a 50cc scooter and I've been traveling to work, home and the grocery for almost 2 years now but now it's about to get really cold outside and the semester for college in starting in the beginning of January so I really need to get a car. This is really my first time purchasing because my mom bought that SUV for her but than I basically took it over lol Anyway. It's a 88 year old man that selling a 2000 Chevy Malibu ( Gold Color ) with 110,000 Miles ( I KNOW THAT'S ALOT TRUST ME BUT IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT , IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE 10,000 MILES A YEAR..IT'S A YEAR 2000 SO IT SHOULD HAVE 90,000 ON IT ALREADY SO IT ONLY HAS 20,000 MORE ) and the reason why he had so much is because he is from Maine ( We're in florida now ) and he drove back and forth back and forth to Maine from here so it's all highway miles. It's nice and clean inside..steering wheel is even stiff because it doesn't get drove alot and he only wants $2,500. 25 Hundred dollars for that car. That's good and around the price range I wanna spend. I did wanna spend like 5 Grand but now I have school to pay for so it'll be hard. Plus I want money left over so I can hook up my two 15's in the back and put my TV's in it. Than I want to get tint and maybe later on in the year some rims so make it look nice. So what do you guys think? It's a REAL OLD MAN and the reason why it has so many miles is because of the highway miles he used to take. PLEASE let me know today!!!!! 10 POINTS BEST ANSWER

The price is right. And as for highway miles, it will make a difference if he got the maintenance done on time, every time. Ask him if he has all the service records. Also, its first tune up was due at 100,000 miles, as well as a cooling system service. Has this been done already? If not, find out how much both will cost and try to negotiate part of that cost in a price deduction on the sale price. Not all of it. Just part of it since you're already getting a very good deal.

As long as he took excellent care of the car and had all the maintenance and normal wear and tear things taken care of, you should do just fine by buying this car.
