Seat Swap

I have a 1978 silverado 10 pick-up and the bench seat is in pretty rough shape. Instead of having it redone I was thinking about swapping out the bench seat with one from a more current silverado so I could get the center armrest that folds up/down. I was wondering what years will fit (if any) in the 78 with using the existing brackets and mounting holes?

you can try checking at a salvage yard, they have an interchange book, Hollander, or measure the distances between the mounting locations on the current seat and compare to what you can find.
