My 2003 Tahoe will not start. The fuel gauge indicates empty(even the light is lit) - but there is plenty of fuel (I added 8 gallons). The fuel pump will not start - is this because of the error of the fuel level?
 
you have checked for blown fuses?
you could have a fuel pump relay issue, or a bad pump.
did you check electrical connection at the pump?
