Report on earlier wind noise

While having transmission serviced, mechanic started up truck to circulate fluid and for a short period the whining noise came back mechanic took off gas cap and listened in filler pipe, he thought it was the fuel pump, next puzzle to fix---any idea's. Thank you

if it is the fuel pump the only thing to do is replace it

Pumps are expensive! I'd turn up the radio and replace it when it actually starts to act up.

Last wind noise I heard in mine was after eating a couple of bowls of chili.
