Rebuilding a 350 from 79 Corvette. Wondering about parts? Pt 2?

I asked a previous question and cannot figure out how to respond to my own thread, so i have started this one. I got some great advice about heads, pistons, cam, and rocker arms. However, I am still a bit lost on the intake manifold and carb. The Edelbrock Air Gap RPM manifold will not fit under my stock 79 corvette hood, which obviously causes a problem. Also, my corvette has a quadrajet carb on it already which one of the responses seemed to like. Should i really stick with the stock carb? I am not sure what cfm it is, i think 600?

Is that all i would need to do to reach the 330hp range?
