First, hello to all. This is my first post, just found this forum.
I have a 99 Suburban. The front is cooling good. The rear A/C blows strong but is not cooling. I had already put 3-1/2 cans of freon in and got the front about 60 degrees with an outside temperature of about 80.
I have tried switching between heat and A/C on the rear to see if the air door was not opening and that didn't do it.
I am having my regular mechanic work on this later this week, I was just trying to get a quick fix for a trip my family has to take tomorrow morning. To explain that ---- We already knew we had a leak in the O Rings which he is going to replace. I was just trying to get some Freon in for the trip tomorrow. Haven't really needed it much this year, but it's now in the high 70's and 80's in Texas.
