Last month I had to replace the intake gaskets on my 03 burb. The bolts were properly torqued and in the correct sequence.
My question is, should the intake bolts be re-torqued after a few weeks, miles, or months? I applied a light coat of medium duty thread lock to them.

What do you guys think?

If you tightened them to spec and then let the engine get to operating temp and re checked them, then I wouldn't worry about it. Anytime I ever rebuilt an engine or did a head gasket or manifold gasket, I'd always torque every thing to spec, run it to operating temp and recheck the torque. Never had to go back and re torque anything doing it that way.

I torqued them to spec and ran engine up to temp....did not recheck them. Will do that asap.
thanks

No problem, man. BUT don't be surprised if you find they didn't need it. I've always considered it a precautionary act.
