radio working again? My starter was replaced this moring on a chevy malibu. Radio/Cd unit is stock, and was working BEFORE it was towed into the shop for the starter. I do not have the manuel for the car since I purchased this piece of crap used. So, maybe having a car payment wouldn't be so bad after all. Anyways, I'm stuck with this thing, how do I fix my radio unit? Thanks!

Possibly because they disconnected your battery to replace the starter you need to put the radio codes back in. Call the dealership where they sell the chevy's frequently. Of even call the place which fixed the starter, they might have the codes.

I have had the same thing happen when I had just my battery replaced, I had to call Ford to get the radio codes and now it is fine.

Sorry for your lots.
