Question about transmissions

I have bought a 4l60e to replace a 700r4 in a 1992 GMC pickup.

I do have the entire engine compartment wiring harness and the computer from the 1994 pickup this transmission was pulled from.

Would it be easier to swap the entire harness or would yall recommend on trying to find another 700r4?

Being the lazy sum beech that I am and hating electrical work, I'd just try to find another 700r4. But, that's just my lazy ass opinion.
