I have a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt (automatic) and it seems to be having a lot of problems and the local car dealer ship doesn't know what to fix becuase they can't duplicate them. When I drive down the road underneath my center console by the floor it makes rattling noise, my gear shifter stick trying to get it out of park, and more that I can't remember at the moment, what could be wrong with it, and also what problems have you had or heard about. Thanks

jim v-automatics dont have throwout bearings! its your shifter and wires running to it they will eventuly short out and it will leave you stranded it happend a week ago to my buddy the foam underneath the shifter detereated the dealership charged him 506.00 to fix it . its happening to a lot of those cars there will probibly be a recall on em soon call chevy and report it
