Power increase?

Hello everyone, i'm new to this forum and looking for your advise.. I bought an 08 tahoe not to long ago, and love it, but sometimes i feel that i need a little more power. I know that there are different things i can do to it, but was thinking along the lines of ecu chip. Can anyone give me some advice? If so, please let me know where to look for these items. Thanks

If it is the 5.3, then that is a common complaint! Do you have any idiot lights on? Check engine/SES?

I would start with the simple stuff first, plugs, wires, air filter, fuel injector cleaner, and things like that first! Then if that doesn't help get a power programmer and optimize the tune for power. That should help there! If you need more throw a cold air intake and a better flowing cat back exhaust on it, then you should be good to go! If not then maybe you have other issues like malfunctioning MAF sensor or maybe a bad O2 sensor... Just maybe not bad enough the throw a SES code!
