for those that looked beyond the first message, I've got a 2000 1500 with a 5.3 eng AT 2wd. First start of the day or after it's sat for an extended duration, it's starts quickly and runs smoothly. Even idles during extended stops. Turn it off and it starts right back up, but leave it for a short period to run an errand or such and it takes two or three attempts to get it fired off again and even then you need to coax it as it's slow to reach idle rpm. After that, it runs like before. There are no codes displayed from the OBD, but other than a little research that's all the troubleshooting I've done. Anyone expericence this problem and if so what corrective action did you take? Thanks in advance for your suggestions and I apologize again for the unconventional way of posting. Maybe some day I'll get this right too!
