Could anyone help me with figuring out what is going on here... I have a 1998 k1500. I know the PO753 is shift solenoid a. I have replaced both a and b and its still popping the same code again. also i have replaced plugs, wires, distributor, rotor, oil and filter, oil pressure sending unit, coil, trans filter, trans fluid. I also keep getting PO304 which is cylinder 4 miss-fire. I have also cleaned the throttle body "which was dirty". the engine does have a little skip at idle but runs great and shifts great as well. I can clear the codes and its fine until i drive about a quarter mile and they pop right up again. I truly don't know what else to do. Could some one please help me before this truck drives me crazy....

did you do a compression test?
did you try switching the injector with another cylinder to see if the code moves?
on the trani codes you are sure you dont have a harness or connector issue?

I will give those a try next. but as far as the trani, i checked all the connections and they seemed to be ok. now it added another code, o2 sensor bank 2. WOW!! this truck is going to be the death of me......Thanks for the advice. I will let you know about the injector switch-around.

I added a spider injection and still the same codes once again........................

what do you mean by you "added" a spider injection? have you checked the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator for gasoline? have you done a compression test?

Zora i did a compression check, it was in normal range but now i have no fire. i unplugged the coil wire so i could turn the engine over and now no spark at all. do you have any suggestions as to why i have lost all spark.... Please help

check the connector to see if a pin is bent or broken

checked wires they are ok i checked the coil its ok, i checked the crank senser its ok, i checked the control mo-dual its also getting the right amount of power to it. i know there is something miner but i just cant figure it out. i went through all the external wiring harness and could not find a short anywhere. is it possible the computer could have went bad that quick? thats about all i have left to replace....
