So I'm in the market for a late model Suburban (2010-2012).
I've got three kids - so whenever they have friends along - boom - we have a car load of kids. We need the seats and yet, we also do a lot of activities (sports, camping, etc.) - so we need the cargo room too. The 'burban is clearly the best vehicle for us.
I'm not typically into aesthetics ALL that much....and I really do generally like the looks of the Suburban (always have). The question I have now however - particularly as it relates to the late model ones.....the stock tires look awfully whimpy. Can the vehicle handle larger tires without modification? Anyone swap out the tires to a more rugged tire? Pics that you could post?
I'm a 41 year old family guy - conservative job - so I'm not looking to put huge mud tires and take the thing 4 wheeling.....but I do want it to have tires that look more rugged than a mini-van. (No offense to anyone who is running with stock tires).
Any information/advice/pics that you could share would be a huge help - thanks!
